Gig holders, dubbed "whales" can substantial influence price, making their support crucial for the project’s sustainability. Whales often possess an in-depth understanding of the crypto space, providing valuable insights and guidance to token teams. Therefore, gathering these informed whales into a single chat alongside the project team is a strategic move! But how would go about that?
While alternatives exists we offer some unique features with more to come. Among other things:
No wallet connect required
Prevents "tx-stealing", to which other non-connect whale chats are venerable to
Free verification, we allow transaction to be send on the testnet as well!
This is inspired by the recent Ledger incident emphasizing how risky wallet connects can be, even for trusted teams.
It's super easy to get started! Simply add https://t.me/chatx_whale_chat_bot to your public group and private group. Make the bot admin in both groups and voila! Simply run /whalesetup
in your public group and follow the tests. Actually just three steps:
Provide the token address, just your token contract (e.g. 0x19B53cD4665ed434388a6De9d9eFfC4873C53B78
)
The percentage of tokens a user should hold to be considered a whale, for example 1
for 1%
Then send the id of your private group. If you are not sure how to get this just add https://t.me/MissRose_bot and type /id
Press "✅Done!" and you are all set!
That is that! Now if you want people to easily join your chat simply type /whaleportal
and it will show you a whale portal that you can pin in your group:
NOTE: Currently we are (not yet) kicking whales when they sold their bag. This will be implemented in the next release and completely anonymized in V2.
